1) Because of phenomenal test scores over the past 3 years, RHHS will start having an open campus Lunch policy on September 30th, and is avaliable to all student except freshmen. Lunch periods will be extended by 10 minutes giving the students a 45 minutes lunch.

2) Believing this idea will hurt local business, community members are sending around a petetion against Walmart’s idea of a new Super Walmart, which Walmart believes they can handle two Walmarts in one town. The community will be having a town meeting on October 25th about this issue.

3)Principal George of Salada Traoil called Ms.Mobley about an incoming six grade student who was numerously tested to be a genius. Because of this status, Principal George would like to have him moved up to highschool early so he wouldn’t waste any time in Middle School.

4) Also showing that three to four children are every day in the U.S due to child abuse or neglect, and that more than half of the children were under one along with 79% of the children being under 5, a survey released yesterday by CAPC shows that the child abuse cases rose by 1 million from the previous year.

5)Cause 76,000 in damages, a fire that was started by a cigarette had homeowner Katly Mahoney, who was awakened  by the smell of smoke, suffering minor burns on her hands and feet. Firefighters found the house on fire at 3 am and soon had the blaze controlled in five minutes.
