My topic is about a stampede the killed over 717 people, and what cause it. The article is called, “717 people dead: What caused the deadly stampede at the Hajj?” I got the article from CNN. It talks about mostly the rituals that could’ve, or most likely caused the stampede. It could also be because if the extreme heat they are experiencing, and the stampede just made everything even worse. But, this isn’t new; many people have been killed in the same exact ritual before, in 1990. I really don’t know how I feel about this event. Honestly, I don’t get how people can kill other people for ritual. This doesn’t really effect me either. I don’t live in the middle east where this event happened. Plus, not many people in my area have that religion, or at least not enough to make a huge stampede. This event, doesn’t really effect the world. I mean, it has happened another time before. It will definitely effect the ones who were related to those 717 people, though. Sadly, this ritual has killed so many people among the years, and hopefully they choose to stop this.
