13 Killed in Shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College: Official

I got this article from NBC News.

A recent shooting that happened at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, at October first, kills 13 people. It is unknown whether the gunman is one of the 13 dead. Mercy Medical Center in Rosenberg was treating 9 of the students when three more expecting students.  Sacred Heart General Hospital in Eugene, a major trauma center, was expecting three to come by helicopter, meaning that fifteen students were shot.

This is absolutely terrible, and unneeded. It kinda hurts me inside to know that someone was crazy enough to kill 13 (or 12) innocent bystanders. It replays the same question in my mind; “Why?” Although that question is not answered just yet, I hope that it will be answered very soon, and that it is not as bad as it may be. Obviously, this event does not effect me, for I do not live in Oregon.

This event doesn’t really effect the world. Many school shootings happen, probably everyday. All I know, is that if it is a big deal, then maybe a little more security will be put in small schools that have not issued searches for guns on students and such. Hopefully, it will open the eyes of others that anyone around you can be dangerous.
