The topic of my article is over the treatment of Serena Williams, an amazing Tennis Player. Although she did not get interviewed herself in this article, Andy Roddick was. The title of my article is called “Andy Roddick On The Ugly Truth Behind How We Treat Serena Williams.” I got the article at The Huffington post/HuffPost Sports (<Click there for the link) The article, was all about how Serena Williams, is mainly mistreated because of her race and color. They say her body is too muscular for a woman.

This, is obviously wrong and arrogant. This hurts me to know that this talented woman is criticized  for her looks and skin color when she plays Tennis. I think it’s disgusting and horrible. The event definitely effects me, for I am a thick person my self. Also, my mom is too, and she is pretty strong. I would hate for my mom to be insulted for her strength and looks because she is not “perfect.”

Yet, this greatly effects the world more than me, because there are most likely more muscular women out there who get as much criticism as Williams. Imagine all the women who are getting criticized for being who they were born to be. That they’re called scary because they are strong, and different. If women are being criticized for their shape, why aren’t men? Hopefully, this issue gets noticed by the world.
